Privacy Policy
Your photographs are the most personal thing you can hand a product. Here's exactly what we hold, why we hold it, and how you take it back.

What we collect
Your account: the email address you sign up with, your name if you give one, and — if you use Google — the basic profile Google returns.
Your memories: the photographs you upload, the books you build from them, and the words you write or approve.
Your orders: the configuration, delivery address and order history needed to print and ship a book.

Why we hold it
To run the product you asked for: to keep you signed in, store your books, let AI draft a story from your photographs, show you a preview, and print and deliver an order.
We do not sell your photographs or your personal information, and we don't use your memories to advertise to you.

How AI processes your photos
To suggest a story, ETAPA analyses the photographs in a book you are building — things like when they were taken, what they appear to show and how they group into moments — and generates draft captions and layouts.
This happens so you can be shown a first draft. You approve everything.

Your control
You can view and edit your books at any time, delete photographs and books from your account, and ask for your account and its contents to be deleted entirely.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to a copy of your data, to correct it, or to object to certain processing.

Keeping it safe
Sessions are held in secure, HTTP-only cookies rather than in browser storage reachable by scripts, and access to your books requires your authenticated account.
No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data, we'll tell you and the relevant authority as required.
